Glitter for days! I originally saw this on one of the amazing Facebook groups I’m in and thought I would give it a try with my daughter. I ordered the seamless paper and dress from Amazon and bought the glitter from Hobby Lobby. I used regular as well as jumbo glitter. I know a lot of photographers use glitter overlays but I didn’t have to with this shoot. Our living room isn’t very big, but right in front of my desk is a bay window area. I opened the blinds and hung up a cheap white shower curtain that I purchased on sale months ago from the Dollar General. I rolled the paper out, dressed my daughter, and had my husband and son throw glitter towards her. She had tons of fun and I got some pretty cute photos that I plan on blowing up and hanging on her bedroom wall. After all, what little girl doesn’t love dressing like a princess and playing in glitter?!?!
The glitter was a pain to clean up, but honestly, I’d do it again. I mean, look at those little glitter covered toes. So freaking cute. 🙂

Welcome March, warmer weather…wind and allergies??? This time of year is alway exciting. For the last few years we have started our indoor plants for our outdoor garden around this time and this year is no exception. Our tomato plants are already two inches tall. I’m excited about our garden this year and I’m sure I will be blogging about it all summer.
In Oklahoma, the warmer weather brings the wind and for people like me, the allergies. It is awful. However, if you like your bed sheets to be dried fresh on the line, the Oklahoma clothes dryer is the way to go. It is super fast and is also fun for the littles that run around the yard.

I love everything about this picture. First, this is my daughter and I took this picture while doing her 4th birthday photos. I was pretty excited because she LOVES the outfit we got for these pictures. She normally won’t wear a bow in her hair and she will never wear a pony tail for more than a second, so I was pretty excited when she wanted to wear the head band. Luckily, while we were in Allen, TX she made a friend at the hotel that wore several head bands. Katie thought that was pretty cool so when I took her to buy this one she wanted to wear it constantly. The last time I looked Eeyore was wearing it. Second, I love the way she is just being her silly self. I don’t remember what was said or why she was giggling but it doesn’t matter. She was happy.
